Course Information
Description Private instruction in the synthesizer with goals related to commercial music.
Prerequisites None

This is a 2 credit course that is required to meet 4 hours per week, one with your applied faculty plus three additional hours, exclusive of course preparation.

Course Policies
Instructor Policies I will not discuss your grades over the phone or by email. If you want to discuss your grades, you must come to my office, in person.
Attendance Policy There are about 15 weeks in every semester; students are expected to attend at least 14 lessons per semester. Final grades will be reduced by five percentage points for every lesson missed. More than three unexcused absences will result in a failing grade for the course. Three tardies will count as one unexcused absence.
Academic Honesty Academic honesty is expected from all students, and dishonesty in any form will not be tolerated. Please consult the LSC-PA policies (Section IX, subsection A, in the Faculty Handbook) for consequences of academic dishonesty.
Facility Policies
  1. No food or tobacco products are allowed in the classroom.

  2. Only students enrolled in the course are allowed in the classroom, except by special instructor permission.

  3. Use of electronic devices is prohibited.
